Kin-Si – Replicate your Spirit in Digital Space

Kin-Si was a contestant in the Blackstone Launchpad Idea Olympics in 2014. Kin-Si’s concept was to 3D-map figures using a depth camera such as the Microsoft Kinect and then custom software will record the data input from the Kinect and translate it into 3D models of the performers. Within the 3D environment users will be able to adjust camera angles, zoom, pause, rewind, and save.
